NEWPORT NEWS, VIRGINIADUTIES: Assistant Attorneys General litigate in state and federal courts; provide legal advice and counsel to the Division on cases; participate in legal committees covering appeals, legislation, policy and training; maintain open communication and positive relationships with courts; cultivate an attorney-client relationship with the Division; supervise personnel and attend and participate in statewide and regional meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills. Interpersonal skills and ability to work with client agency are essential. The candidate must be admitted to the Virginia State Bar.
